Woman Found Fatally Struck While Sleeping Underneath Semi on Fesslers Lane

The MNPD Fatal Crash team is investigating this afternoon’s unfortunate death of a woman fatally struck while lying underneath a semi-truck as it exited a parking space behind the Shell gas station on Fesslers Lane.

The preliminary investigation indicates the woman, tentatively identified as a 46-year-old who frequents that area, was sleeping underneath the trailer when she was struck by the rear tires as it pulled out of the parking spot around 2:30 p.m.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will work to positively identify the woman through fingerprints.

The semi-truck, described as a blue trailer pulling a white trailer, did not stop. The driver may not have known that the woman was run over.
