We solve complexity by bringing the right pieces together. Aquablue Cares applies that same principle to communities. It’s not about scale for the sake of scale. It’s about making the right impact.”
— Chris Marino

LAVALLETTE, NJ, UNITED STATES, April 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Corporate social responsibility often lives in reports. At Aquablue, it shows up where it matters, on the ground, in real time, and increasingly, at scale.

Driving that effort is CEO Chris Marino, who has built Aquablue Cares into a growing, action-packed platform supporting communities across New Jersey and beyond. What started as a hands-on initiative has evolved into a network that now supports an average of 50–60 organizations each year, without losing its personal edge. The latest example is deeply local and deeply personal.

Marino, a volunteer firefighter, recently led a grassroots fundraising effort that delivered $33,840 to the Lavallette Volunteer Fire Department’s Water Rescue Division. In a state where only 8.3% of fire departments are staffed by career officers, according to New Jersey Division of Fire Safety statistics, volunteer-led departments carry the weight of frontline response. The funding is to equip the department with a custom jet ski trailer designed to cut response times in critical, life-or-death situations. Marino didn’t delegate it. He lived it.

“Training with the team, it was obvious we had the right equipment, but not the right deployment,” Marino said. “When you’re responding to someone in the water, seconds are everything. This closes that gap.”

The campaign began as a simple idea tied to Marino’s personal marathon training. It quickly gained momentum, mobilizing Aquablue’s network, local supporters, and a broader digital community. The result: a fully funded solution that will directly improve rescue operations across Lavallette and surrounding coastal towns.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the practice of companies investing in the well-being of the communities in which they operate, beyond their commercial obligations. Where many companies treat it as a reporting exercise, Aquablue has built it into the fabric of how the company operates.

This is how Aquablue approaches CSR, not as a program, but as an extension of how the company operates. Since 2022, Aquablue Cares has expanded its partner network by 135%, growing to serve more than 60 organizations, while contributing over $70,000 in direct funding. More importantly, it has created a repeatable model: identify real needs, activate the right network, and deliver outcomes that matter.

For a company built on simplifying global connectivity for enterprises through its Global Aggregation Model, the philosophy is consistent.

“We solve complexity for our customers by bringing the right pieces together,” Marino said. “Aquablue Cares applies that same principle to communities. It’s not about scale for the sake of scale. It’s about making the right impact, at the right moment.”

As expectations shift for businesses to play a more active role in community resilience, Aquablue is demonstrating a pragmatic, leadership-driven model, one where impact is personal, measurable, and embedded in the culture of the company.

With Aquablue Cares continuing to expand in 2026, the company is actively engaging new partners across the tri-state region, with a focus on public safety, local infrastructure, and community-led initiatives.
